Read Before You Sign

On any given day, how many times do you sign your name?  Do you always read everything before you sign it?

Often times, documents are pushed in front of us and we hear “oh, just sign your name right at the bottom of the form, this is just standard stuff.”  Unfortunately, many people feel intimidated or embarrassed to take a few minutes to read through the page(s) they are signing.  You have every right to take as much time as you need to carefully read every word of a document before you sign it.  If there is anything you do not understand while reading through it, ask for help.

Read the fine print on everything you sign, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.  Reading over documents carefully before you sign them can take some time, but it could save you money and many headaches down the road.

Remember that I am always here to answer any of your legal questions.  As part of the services I offer, I can review your legal documents so you can rest easy that your rights are protected, and that you fully understand what you are signing.  I am here for you!
